Virtuoso has named the best cruise lines of 2024 and announces Melinda Gregor of Gregor & Lewis Bespoke Travel as its first cruise ambassador at an invitation-only celebration.
Melinda and other winner representatives of the cruise lines were honoured on Tuesday 13 August at ‘Cruise Night Out’ – one of the most coveted events during the Virtuoso Travel Week program that hosts cruise partners and cruise-focused travel advisors at the invitation-only celebration.
More than 4,700 top luxury travel professionals, travel advisors and preferred partners are gathered together for this year’s event.
Two new categories were introduced to the honours roll in 2024 – Best Small Ship Cruise Line and Cruise Ambassador – joining the existing categories of Best Ocean Cruise Line, Best River Cruise Line and Best Expedition Cruise Line.
The Cruise Ambassador winner was selected internally by Virtuoso leadership, while nominations for the partner awards were determined by a survey of Virtuoso advisors, who then cast votes to determine the winners.
Virtuoso says this year’s winners share a commitment to excellence, innovation, support of the travel advisor community, client satisfaction and unforgettable travel experiences in some of the world’s most extraordinary destinations.
