At 9,000sqm, Sirene by GAIA will be the world’s largest beach club when it opens in December 2024 as one of 13 new luxury waterfront precincts in the newly unveiled J1 Beach in Dubai.
The world’s largest beach club will be located at the newly developed J1 Beach on the shores of Jumeirah 1 and features a 400-seat Greek-Mediterranean restaurant and beachfront with a swimming pool, 300 sunbeds and exclusive cabanas.
Sirene by GAIA is just one of three high-end beach clubs and 10 fine dining restaurants – some of which are outposts of Michelin-starred venues – in the new urban riviera that is set to transform Dubai’s beachfront dining scene.

Italian Gigi Rigolatto restaurant is already open, featuring a garden, private pool, Bellini bar and Gigi Circus Kids Club, while Lebanese-Armenian-flavoured Almayass by the Sea and Spanish-style, modern Mexican Gitano open on 1 November.
An outpost of French Rivera restaurant African Queen will also open in November along with Baôli contemporary Japanese and Mediterranean and Asian fusion fare at beach club and restaurant Sakhalin.
They’ll be joined later in the year by fine diner Lúnico; New York-born La Baia by the Beach’s Amalfi Coast-style menu; Mesopotamian-inspired Ninive Beach Club; Chouchou, specialising in upscale French cuisine plus J1 Beach’s only private members club; African-inspired Ina and Kaimana Beach, offering Asian-Polynesian fusion.

The beach clubs and restaurants feature design concepts and interiors from the world’s most renowned hospitality and lifestyle groups, such as Ennismore and Fundamental Hospitality.
Formerly known as La Mer, in addition to beachfront dining, entertainment, pools and sunbeds, J1 Beach development will also provide jetty guest service and beach access.
