Airlines, hoteliers and tour operators are really competing for the Travel Agent’s attention right now, with a number of special discounts designed to entice consultants to experience their product first-hand.
First, Air Vanuatu came out with $99 (+ taxes) fares to the South Pacific, which was followed up with an accommodation offering from a luxury resort in Vanuatu. Then Norfolk Tourism released cheap self-famil rates and Air New Zealand issued $308 (+ taxes) fares to the Cook Islands.
Now Beyond Travel is giving Travel Agents the chance to experience one of 2017’s hottest destinations, Sri Lanka, for less.
The tour operator is offering consultants a seven-night cultural tour of the colourful country from $895 per person twin share.
During the trip, Travel Agents and their companions will be introduced to varied Sri Lankan delights, from beautiful beaches and bustling port cities, to ancient ruins and fascinating wildlife.
Highlights will include visiting the Cultural Triangle- known as the ancient heart of Sri Lanka – Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Polonnaruwa Ancient city, Dambulla Cave Temples, experience the dedicated work of staff at the reputable Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, Temple of the Tooth Relic, Royal Botanical Gardens, an evening Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park, the tea-growing region Nuwara Eliya and activities in the famous Kandy.

Included in the $895 price is six nights hotel accommodation at a mix of four and five star hotels, daily breakfast and dinner, private comprehensive touring in a private air-conditioned vehicle and an English speaking Chauffeur guide/National Guide, entrance fees and all transfers.
There is an Agent single supplement of $399 and a triple share rate of $795 per person. The offer is valid for travel from 1 August until 30 November 2017.
