While half the Contiki crew celebrated the tour operator’s win at the NTIAs over the weekend, the other half was entertaining party-goers at Byron Bay’s Splendour in the Grass.

The group made its now-traditional appearance at the annual festival this year, with some 250 campers in its group.

Attendees were driven from Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast on Contiki coaches to the three-day event where they immersed themselves in music and a completely chilled environment.

In addition to seeing their favourite bands, the youth tour operator’s guests enjoyed an intimate performance from Airling on the Sunday morning.

If that wasn’t enough, there was also a Contiki Marquee with some amazing impromptu sparkly makeup stations set up to match the festival’s ‘glitter’ theme, and there were free shuttles for people to travel into Byron Bay.

Other highlights included meeting at Happy Kanye every night, enjoying the Hawaiian themed Contiki Tiki Bar designed to celebrate the operator’s new nine-day trip in Hawaii AND there was Karaoke.

To top it all off, Tina Arena surprised everyone at the music festival when she joined Client Liaison on stage in the main arena.

Have you been to Splendour in the Grass with Contiki?
