It’s not often you hear a hotel brand associated with fashion but over at Ovolo it’s all about trends, form and presenting runway-worthy style guests will never forget.
This refreshing concept of accommodation is slowly spreading across Australia as the brand purchased another property this weekend, the Emporium Hotel Fortitude Valley in Brisbane.
Ovolo confirmed the acquisition less than a month after opening the group’s first Queensland-based hotel, saying it will undergo an ‘ovolution’ to become Ovolo The Valley.
Prior to reopening under its new name, the hotel’s rooms and public spaces will be tweaked to better represent the brand and create an “effortless living and experience-based culture”.
Among the changes include the addition of new food and drink concepts, the installation of unique art and the introduction of freebies ranging from the mini bar, breakfast, wi-fi, happy hour and all-day snacks.
Chief Executive of the Group, Girish Jhunjhnuwala, described the Emporium as an “obvious addition” to the brand’s portfolio because of its “heritage, service-focused culture and location”.
“We are excited to see the evolution of this hotel come to life over the remainder of 2018.”
Girish Jhunjhnuwala, Ovolo Group Chief Executive
The Valley Brisbane will be the brand’s second hotel in Brisbane after the launch of Ovolo Inchcolm in early April.
