Topdeck Travel tells G20 delegates where to go!

In one of the biggest events to hit Australia this year, The G20 is putting Brisbane on the world stage and giving people across the globe a glimpse of what we have to offer.

Delegates from over 25 nations (along with their sizable entourages) have been arriving in Brisbane all week, with many surely keen to extend their stay for bit of R&R in Queensland and beyond once all the formalities are finished.

No doubt our surf and sand loving Prime Minister Tony Abbott may have some travel experience to share with his G20 counterparts, although there’s a good chance Vladimir Putin may not get the memo.

Leading youth travel brand, Topdeck Travel, has made life easier for Mr Abbott by pulling out some of their favourite Australian trips and matching these up with a few of the world leaders attending the G20.

These trips will show off why Australia is the lucky country and give these world leaders some great memories. Below is a great list of trips that have matched for some of the world’s most famous leaders.

President Vladimir Putin

Step aside Michael Phelps

With a passion for the outdoors and posing shirtless on a number of occasions, Vladimir would be in his element on the Ultimate Surfari trip allowing him to frolic on the sun-kissed Gold Coast before taking a few surfing lessons at Topdeck’s Surf Lodge.

It won’t be all sand and surf on the Gold Coast, he will also get to spend two night’s in Byron Bay where he will be able to kick back and enjoy the unique vibe or he can see Byron Bay from above with a skydiving experience.

After enjoying Byron Bay for two days, Vladimir can jump back on the bus and make his way to Sydney with a quick stop off at Crescent Head for another spot of surfing (or shirtless photo opportunity) with his trip ending with wine tasting in the Hunter Valley.

President Barack Obama

Oh yeah!

After being cooped up indoors for days on end it would be fair to say that the leader of the free world would want to get outdoors and soak up the sun.

There is no better way to do this than by putting the President and his secret service entourage on the East Coast Crusin’ trip that will see him enjoying Australia’s east coast from the Whitsundays down to Sydney.

With 4WD experiences on Fraser Island, sailing in the Whitsundays and a host of other activities, President Obama will definitely be making more trips downunder

Prime Minister David Cameron

Can I have an ice cream now?

What better way to show off Australia to a Brit than to show them what a real beach looks like. There is no better way to do this than putting Prime Minister Cameron on the Reef Suntanner trip where he will see the best beaches in Queensland and swim the Great Barrier Reef.

He will travel between the sun-seekers’ Mecca that is Surfers Paradise and the tropical hotspot of Cairns. Touring Australia’s stunning East Coast makes for a ton of breathtaking scenery and memorable moments to experience along the way!

Where would you recommend the G20 leaders to holiday in Australia?
