By KARRYON @karryontravel25 Mar 2015The Conference Shop is preparing to host a number of event planners on its first-ever famils program of regional NSW. The company, which launched last month as a destination marketing service, it will rune seven famils in NSW and the ACT in 2015. Designed to help meeting organisers plan future events, the famils begin this month with a two-day visit to the Blue Mountains on 27-28 March. This will be followed by a trip to Wollongong on 23-24 April. Katie Burgess and Christopher Offord working their magic at the Executive Assistant Network in Sydney. Other famils also available include one and two day trips to Penrith and Hawkesbury in May, the Southern Highlands in June, Hunter Valley in July, Canberra in August plus Macarthur and Sydney Olympic Park in September. The Conference Shop’s Director, Carla Offord, said famils will showcase the appeal of regional NSW as corporation destinations. “Each famil will focus on the uniqueness of a particular region within three hours of Sydney, however they will all be interactive, allowing participants to experience the true essence of each destination, learn about the value regions can bring to their events and meet suppliers face to face,” she said. Meanwhile, earlier this month, the group had a stall at the Executive Assistant Network (EAN) Conference at Luna Park in Sydney. Running over 18 and 19 March, the event gave the group an opportunity to expose the products, hotels and opportunities in regional NSW. Would you host an event in regional NSW?
