Heralded as the Oscars of the Travel Industry, the 2016 AFTA National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) promises to be one heck of a party when it kicks off this Saturday night.
Hosted at The Watershed in Darling Harbour, a venue capable of holding over 1,200 attendees, the Travel Industry’s night of nights is expected to top all previous incarnations of the awards night.
With 37 different awards categories, stemming from Best Travel Agency Group, to Best Travel Consultant, to Best Travel Writer, the night is a great chance to network and meet people from right across the Travel Industry.
As with previous years, the most popular nominee categories were Best Travel Agency Retail – Single Location, Best Travel Consultant – Retail, Best Travel Agency Manager – Retail Single Location and the Emirates Travel Consultant Scholarship.

But of course, this is the Travel Industry, and so naturally the question on everyone’s lips right now is how EPIC will the NTIA after party be?
With partners Singapore Airlines at the helm, the post party shenanigans are set to be wild! The three levels of the The Watershed are expected to be pumping with excited industry professionals, letting their hair down for one long night of partying!
The NTIA After Party will kick off from 10.00pm until late on 16 July. Guests (who remember to wear their wrist bands) will receive a free drink voucher.
