Looking at the picture above, it appears to capture a group of friends travelling and hanging out at a sports game right?
Well it kind of is and it kind of isn’t – it’s actually quite a serendipitous story from the guys over at Collette.
See the woman with the number ’83’ printed on her jersey? That’s Paula McReynolds a Flight Centre Agent.
She was wearing her Patriots jumper at a Flight Centre Expo after-party in Perth when she was spotted by Collette’s Australian General Manager Alison Mead.
Collette are huge supporter of the Patriots and Alison thought it was nice opportunity to meet someone new and chat about the team.
So she strolled on over to Paula, thinking she was a consumer, and the conversation began. Alison quickly learned that Paula was a Travel Agent, that she was heading to the East Coast of the USA in a few days and that she’d missed out on tickets to see her favourite team play in their home town.
Lucky for Paula, Alison hooked her up.
After the chance encounter, the Collette executive arranged for Paula to see her favourite team play a home game against the New York Jets with a group of Collette’s US-based employees.
Everyone had an amazing time and Alison even got to ‘meet’ her idol Tom Brady, see she’s standing next to him in the picture below…
