DREAMY: Dreamliners to fly Air NZ's Adelaide to Auckland route

Passengers flying between Adelaide and Auckland can enjoy the comfort of Air New Zealand's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with news the aircraft has earned itself a permanent spot on the route during peak summer months.

Passengers flying between Adelaide and Auckland can enjoy the comfort of Air New Zealand’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with news the aircraft has earned itself a permanent spot on the route during peak summer months.

The kiwi carrier will fly four services a week between November and March 2019, departing Adelaide at midday on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Between 18 December 2018 and 29 January 2019 this will increase to five services a week with an extra return service on a Tuesday.

Air New Zealand first launched the Dreamliner on services between Adelaide and Auckland in October 2017, using a mix of that aircraft and A320 aircraft on the route.

This gave their passengers the expanded choices of Business Premier and Premium Economy on the route for the first time.

Air New Zealand Regional General Manager Australia Kathryn Robertson says operating the Dreamliner on all services between the two cities comes in response to strong demand.
