Get excited, because Jetstar has today announced new direct flights between Melbourne and Hamilton Island will take off from 29 March, linking Melbournians with the most popular Whitsundays island and gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
Goodbye city, hello #beachlife.
What’s even better, is that to celebrate the new route, a 36-hour flash sale will launch at midday (AEDT) today with fares starting from just $99^.

The new schedule

Operated by an A320 aircraft, the four-weekly direct flights will add around 1500 weekly seats between the two destinations.
