If you love all things Australia, you’ll be pleased to know that Tourism Australia has introduced a second tier to its specialist travel agent training program in Australia, aptly named the Premier Aussie Specialist Program.
If you’re already an Aussie Specialist and would like to deepen your understanding of the beautiful place we all call home and increase your domestic sales, the Premier Aussie Specialist Program is one for you.
Tourism Australia says the Premier Aussie Specialist membership category is an acknowledgment of destination expertise, inside knowledge and strong ties with the Australian travel industry of Aussie Specialist agents with an established record of selling Australia.
The Program seeks to recognise the invaluable advocacy that travel advisors, who have been selling Australia for many years and will continue selling Australia holidays.

On top of that, the Premier Aussie Specialist Program offers professional validation for retail agents selling Australian holidays to discerning clients.
As part of the membership, you, a Premier Aussie Specialists, will be invited to attend exclusive travel industry workshops, market updates, and training events hosted by Tourism Australia and Australia’s States and Territories.
There’s also an opportunity to apply for marketing funding to assist you in promoting Australia.

If you’re new to all this, the Aussie Specialist Program is an award-winning training program that provides frontline travel sellers from around the globe with the knowledge and skills to best sell Australia and is supported by all State & Territory tourism partners.
It is available in 9 languages and currently includes over 26,000 qualified Aussie Specialists worldwide, with more than 2,700 travel agents across Australia.

Tourism Australia has recently refreshed its Aussie Specialist Program in a move aimed at providing travel sellers with the knowledge and skills to better promote and sell Australia, now we’ve moved into the global #ArrivalRevival of the travel industry.
Tourism Australia says the new program has greater personalisation, faster qualifying times, and shorter more interactive training modules.
