Delta Air Lines is offering more choice and personalisation for Premium Select (DPS) customers flying out of Sydney starting March 2024.
Now, DPS flyers can customise their onboard experience by pre-selecting their meals before their trip, among other upgrades to the DPS service.
Customers can now make and modify their meal selections up to 24 hours before departure using the Fly Delta app or a link sent via email, starting seven days before their flight.
This pre-select service, previously available only to Delta One customers, has been extended to DPS flyers.
SYD to LAX
For flights from Sydney to Los Angeles, passengers can choose between roasted chicken breast with cacciatore sauce, polenta and broccoli as a main meal, or as a vegetarian option, beetroot ravioli with mushroom cream sauce, kale and roasted tomato.

To help you arrive sated and ready to hit LA, breakfast options include a spinach omelette with cherry tomato ragu, chicken sausage and potato rosti, or for a super healthy and vegetarian option, bircher muesli with blueberry compote.
LAX to SYD
On Delta Air Lines flights from Los Angeles to Sydney, passengers can opt for chicken parmesan with Pomodoro sauce and broccoli, or Cacio e Pepe lasagne with béchamel sauce as a vegetarian alternative.
To welcome you to Sydney, pre-arrival meals include cheddar scrambled egg with chicken date sausage and hash-brown casserole, or Greek yogurt with maple granola, almonds and seeds – if you to go vego.
All Premium Select main meals include a salad, bread and dessert with upgraded service ware, including trays and ceramic dishes, replacing bagasse plates.
Additionally, passengers can enjoy premium snack baskets featuring a variety of sweet and savoury treats, as well as mid-flight snacks. So you won’t have to worry about missing out on Delta’s yummy, signature Biscoff cookies.

Passengers won’t go thirsty either, with a beverage selection that includes Mionetto Prosecco, seasonal wines, beers, spirits, Thrive Farmers teas and soft drinks.
Since introducing DPS in 2017, Delta Air Lines has expanded the premium service to more routes and planes. It now offers passengers more space, comfort and amenities, including wider seats, deeper recline, adjustable footrests, noise-cancelling headsets, handmade amenity kits, blankets made from recycled materials and memory-foam pillows.
With the service, the carrier aims to further enhance the Delta experience by giving flyers more personalisation and control over their journey.

Earlier this year, Delta announced the expansion of the Delta One cabin on its fleet of A350-900, which services the Sydney-LA route, adding eight more lie-flat suites to the long-haul jet by mid-2024.
In February, Delta Air Lines also announced it will commence its first-ever Brisbane-Los Angeles flights in 2024 as travel to the United States continues to rise and competition on Australia-US flights ramps up.
Elsewhere, the airline revealed the launch of brand-new premium lounges along with new Delta Sky Clubs in select major aviation hubs across the US with the first-ever luxury location to debut in New York City’s JFK Airport this year.
