APT Travel Group has donated $10,000 directly to Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation’s disaster relief fund to support local communities in recovery efforts after the recent devastating Super Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam.
It follows $50,000 already raised by APT Travel Group’s staff and supporters for the annual Blue Dragon Marathon Walk on 8 September 2024, which was matched by OneTomorrow to contribute more than $100,000 in total to Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.
The OneTomorrow donation will assist Blue Dragon in distributing food and supplies as well as organise temporary accommodation for impacted communities.

APT Travel Group also partnered with Blue Dragon and The Intrepid Foundation to organise the Blue Dragon Marathon Walk in Melbourne.
The Melbourne event attracted 400-plus participants, including Blue Dragon Founder Michael Brosowski, ABC Melbourne Breakfast host Sammy J and a team of well-known local comedians.

APT CEO David Cox said the group is a strong supporter of Blue Dragon’s mission to end human trafficking in Vietnam.
“Our continuing relationship with Blue Dragon reflects our strong commitment to supporting local communities in Vietnam and our deepest thoughts are with those locals impacted by this devastating event,” he said.
Globally, combined Blue Dragon Marathon Walks have already raised more than $380,000. The Hanoi event was postponed due to the typhoon and will be rescheduled.
