Queen Anne, Cunard’s first new ship in 14 years, has arrived in Australia – her first visit Down Under as part of her maiden 107-day World Voyage.
The ship’s first port of call was Sydney Harbour, before heading to Brisbane, the Whitsundays, Cairns, Darwin, Indonesia, the Philippines and Hong Kong.
Among the guests at the Sydney Harbour celebrations were three women named ‘Anne’, each nominated by Australians for their “unwavering dedication to others”.
Honoured as ‘Deserving Annes’, they were invited onboard by Cunard for the “royal treatment”, enjoying indulgent spa packages, private butler service, dining, and entertainment.

Cunard President Katie McAlister says the cruise line has a deep connection with Australia that spans a century, and it was fitting to mark Queen Anne’s inaugural visit by recognising and celebrating inspiring women who embody the spirit of Cunard.
“The maiden arrival of our magnificent new ship Queen Anne to Sydney Harbour builds on our rich Australian legacy and marks another historic moment for Cunard – one that started with our first World Voyage that included Australia in 1925.”

The Queen of Cunard
The new ship can accommodate 3,000 guests and has 1,225 crew.
There are 15 dining venues with a focus on plant-based cuisine, including dishes curated by Michelin-starred Chef Michel Roux.
The expansive spa has an aqua therapy pool, steam room, Himalayan salt sauna, dry sauna and cold room.

Among the collection of 115 luxury brands aboard the ship are 27 first-time retail partners including Hugo Boss, Raishma, Chapel Down, Whittard and 886 Royal Mint.
Garrard, the first official crown jeweller in the UK, will also have a boutique on Queen Anne, and in another first, 38 display cases will showcase collectables, jewellery, fashion and art from Cunard’s partner brands including Chanel and Bremont.
