Adventure World recently showcased its MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experiences with CT Partners travel advisors in Sri Lanka and a Phil Hoffmann Travel executive team in Vietnam on two different famils that showcased a similar enriching journey.
The seven CT Partners travel advisors had a firsthand MAKE TRAVEL MATTER experience in Habarana, where the group shared homegrown produce and traditional dishes prepared with care by village women.
The group also explored Anuradhapura and Sigiriya Fortress and the Dambulla Rock Temple as part of the Sri Lanka itinerary.

Other famil highlights included a sunrise hot-air balloon ride over the Cultural Triangle, a special wildlife safari in Yala National Park with sightings of elephants, leopards and spotted deer and a stay at a beautifully restored tea factory in the highlands.
Adventure World Head of Sales Elsa McLean said: “We’re thrilled to have showcased our Authentic Sri Lanka collection with some of our key Australian travel partners. This famil provided valuable insights into how Adventure World programs continue to focus on our core principle: to Travel with Purpose.”

Phil Hoffmann Travel executive team’s Authentic Vietnam famil also featured a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER experience at the Animals Asia Bear Sanctuary in Tam Dao.
As guardians of Twilight, the moon bear, the group witnessed the sanctuary’s rescue efforts firsthand, reinforcing ethical wildlife tourism.

Further MAKE TRAVEL MATTER experiences included exploring Pu Luong’s rice terraces and villages, directly benefiting the local community, and social enterprise dining at KOTO in Hanoi before concluding in Hoi An’s Old Quarter.
Phil Hoffmann Travel General Manager Michelle Ashcroft said: “This incredible journey through Vietnam, meticulously crafted by Adventure World, wasn’t just about breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture; it forged a deeper connection.”
“Witnessing the inspiring work at Animals Asia Bear Sanctuary and the profound moment with Twilight touched our hearts deeply, reinforcing the shared values and friendship that bind Phil Hoffmann Travel and Adventure World as true partners, with the opportunity before us to make a difference.”
