The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) is hitting the road in July 2025, bringing the national conversation to local communities with an inspiring speaker lineup at Beyond Borders On The Road (BBOTR) events in Adelaide and Perth.
Roy Morgan’s Head of Travel & Tourism Adele Labine-Romain will be the keynote speaker, sharing her practical, real-world insights tailored for Australian travel businesses from her current role and past positions at Deloitte, Tourism Australia and Tourism & Transport Forum.
Joining her are ATIA CEO Dean Long, who will deliver a strategic update on national initiatives and sector leadership, ATIA Director of Public Policy & Advocacy Ingrid Fraser, sharing key outcomes from recent government advocacy efforts, and My First Job Founder Cass Champion, leading a panel on attracting the next generation of travel professionals.

The upcoming events in Adelaide on 28 July and Perth on 30 July are part of the association’s A30 Strategy to strengthen community among members, facilitate industry connections and provide direct access to national insights and advocacy.
Designed as an extension of the Beyond Borders Travel Summit, these events aim to create more local engagement while showcasing the leadership and innovation driving the future of Australian travel.

Each event will also include a national market update, networking opportunities and recognition of local NTIA finalists and winners.
ATIA Director of Membership & Industry Affairs Richard Taylor said: “Our Project A30 promise is to make sure members feel even more connected, informed, and supported, whether they’re in major cities or regional centres. BBOTR is one way we are bringing that commitment to life.”
