Last night Visit Huntington Beach and Gate7 hosted a pre-screening of the critically acclaimed biographical movie about The Beach Boys – Love & Mercy.
Huntington Beach also known as ‘Surf City USA” hosted last night’s pre-screening of Love & Mercy, the movie which tells the story of the life of Brian Wilson, the frontman of The Beach Boys.
The popular pop group spread the beachy Californian vibe to millions of people across the world in the sixties and Brian Wilson also co-authored the song ‘Surf City’ in 1963.

Last night Visit Huntington Beach gave the audience the chance to win flights and accommodation to the Surf-City and in order to enter the competition volunteers had to battle out a sing-off.
The competition saw three brave contestants belting out their favourite songs by The Beach Boys. It turned out to be a neck and neck competition but Jessica Cox from Infinity Holidays ended up winning with the loudest cheers from the crowd.
Jessica Cox from Infinity Holidays won the sing-off and a trip to Huntington Beach.
