The Globus family of brands has launched an educational new video series for trade partners sharing tips, tricks, business insights, and support on how to navigate a crisis.

Globus family of brands want you to know they are here to support its industry partners and has used the COVID-19 downtime to launch a business insights video series for travel agents and travel agency owners across Australia and New Zealand.

Available to watch on GFOB’s agent portal and closed Facebook group, the series covers a range of topics, with the GFOB team sharing their expertise on subjects from digital marketing and social media advertising, to advice on how to create engaging blog content.

The first video

Kicking off the series, managing director of GFOB Australasia, Gai Tyrrell provides insights into how COVID-19 has impacted GFOB, the company’s customer-centric response and steps all companies can take to navigate a crisis.

“We know a lot of agents have been looking for opportunities to upskill whilst international travel is on hold, so we created this video series as a way of sharing some of the tips and tricks that we use across the business at GFOB every day,” said Ms. Tyrrell.

“Supporting our travel partners is hugely important to us and while the videos aren’t all-encompassing, we hope they serve as a useful starting point for our travel partners.”

“While it has been a tough few months for many in our industry, now is a great time for companies to reassess their strategies, business models or both. It has been useful to reflect on the GFOB offering and ensure that we are in the best possible position to rebound when the market recovers, which it will,” she said.

“Things won’t get back to normal straight away – it will take time – but demand still exists and I believe Australians and New Zealanders will be first off the starting blocks,” she added.
