Created and hosted by Karryon in partnership with Delta Air Lines, NCL, Globus Family of Brands and Benefit, the first-ever Glam Club event couldn’t have been more appropriate given the buzz around the return of NTIA after a three-year absence.

Travel professionals who couldn’t wait to kick off festivities for travel’s night of nights connected and reconnected over bubbly and glitter as they combined catch-ups with touch-ups, all under the expert eyes of Benefit staff in their ‘very Karryon pink’ head office in Sydney.

To top things off, custom Benefit Cosmetic products were also provided to ensure guests stayed fresh for the big day and night.

Globus Family of Brands Head of Sales Australia Peter Douglas told Karryon the event was the “perfect way to be pampered and prepared for the big night”.

“The Glam Club is such an amazing idea, and Globus was proud to be involved with it,” he said.

“We were spoiled with drinks, nibbles and even a touch-up on the make-up if needed. We all left there feeling very spoiled and ready for the NTIAs. Thank you, Karryon!”

Meanwhile, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) Director of Sales Australia/New Zealand Damian Borg hailed the event a success and “can’t wait for 2023”.

“There was really no better way to kick off our NTIA celebrations than at the already infamous KarryOn Glam Club!” he said.

“The event was a hit, and we were thrilled to collaborate with our close friends at GFOB and Delta.”

Delta Air Lines Sales Manager – Australia & New Zealand Nicole Bennett added: “It was amazing to start the NTIA celebrations with our partners and customers at the Glam Club. Delta Air Lines thanks our industry friends who joined us to kick off the festivities.”

The Karryon Glam Club event was the first of Karryon’s brand new event management offering, with recently joined full-time Event Manager Simran Mediratta organising proceedings.

Ms Mediratta previously worked at Sydney travel representation company Gate7 where she managed travel events, including national roadshows, conferences, famils and high-touch trade events and experiences.

Speaking about Karryon’s new Event Management Service, Karryon founder Matt Leedham said, “Offering events as a service and extensively hosting our own is something that we have sat on the fence with for some time now. Mostly because it’s our belief that every event must be an extraordinary experience to represent the Karryon brand and deliver outstanding value back to all stakeholders involved.”

“Our aim is to deliver an authentic and consistent representation of our mission, ‘Together In Travel’ for our partners by connecting people through events in exciting, different and memorable ways.”
