We love how Destination Webinars brings our favourite places to our desktop. This month’s inspiration comes from the Grand Canyon State, in partnership with the Arizona Office of Tourism.

Over four parts, local Arizona representative Jack Curtis from Linkd Tourism will take you through the A to Z of the State. You’ll discover the best activities, places of cultural significance, how to find the best culinary delights and all the hidden gems.

Each part runs for less than 15 minutes and offers a $100 gift card per episode. Four digital dashes across Arizona means four chances to win!

Plus, one lucky agent who watches the entire series will WIN an exclusive hamper full of goodies from the Arizona Office of Tourism!

You’ll drop your deets before each video, and you have until 3 December if you’re keen to get your paws on those prizes.

The A to Z of Arizona

Like any good binge-watch sesh, the series begins and ends with wine. No, you don’t need to swill some while you’re watching; it’s A for American Viticultural Areas through to Z for Zarpara Vineyards! That said if it’ll get you in the Ari-zone-a (groan, we’ll stop now), fill a glass of your favourite vino and click play.

Part 1: Introducing Arizona, A to Z

Jack is kicking off the series in style with a short intro to Arizona. You’ll discover how to get to the Grand Canyon State, as well as the top reasons to visit. There really is something for everyone within the themes of Culinary, Adventure, Heritage and Culture, and Wellness.

Next, the alphabet journey begins from A to F, including an introduction to Arizona’s wine regions, Bearizona’s wildlife and soothing soaks at the famous Castle Hot Springs.

If you’ve ever wanted to know about the charm and cowboy culture at Arizona’s Dude Ranches, this is the place to discover more. The webinar ends with historic Flagstaff where laid-back cafés, lively bars and restaurants, and a vibrant arts scene all impress.

Pairs perfectly with Seyval blanc.

Part two takes you on a jaw-dropping journey around the world-famous Grand Canyon National Park. One of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon’s immense magnitude can be experienced high above aboard a helicopter tour.

You’ll also learn how there are 19 international dark sky communities across Arizona, and where the ‘wickedest town in the west’ is.

Jack continues your adventure underground at Kartchner Caverns State Park and aboveground with the unexpected lighthouse collection at Lake Havasu. There’ll be more surprises when you tune in, too.

For music lovers, the session ends at the 6000-piece collection at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix. Jack will reveal which mega-stars have instruments there (we’ll leave a clue: T. S.).

Conclude with the thrills for adrenaline junkies and outdoor enthusiasts with Arizona’s best X-treme adventures. Think whitewater rafting, hiking desert trails, Pink Jeep Tours, sandboarding and more.

Lettuce rejoice as Yuma is the winter capital of, well, lettuce. And while lettuce and wine don’t pair well, ending the series with a nice glass from Zarpara Vineyards does!
