Fancy a trip to Vietnam this May? G Adventures and Vietjet Air are joining forces to get 12 Aussie and Kiwi travel agents to Vietnam for what looks to be a pho-nomenal fam trip (okay, we’re done with the pho puns).
The top eight agents with the highest number of booked travellers on G Adventures trips will earn their spots on the fam set for 1 -10 May, 2024.
The remaining four spots will be made available via a wildcard draw of all agents who sell at least one G Adventures trip during the incentive period of 01 January – 31 January, 2024.
Where the trip will take you
The winning agents will travel from Hanoi to Halong Bay, then on to experience the capital Huế and the charms of Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City.
The trip will also visit Visit Oodles of Noodles, a popular G Adventures-supported cooking class that demonstrates how travel can be a force for good in supporting local communities.
We’ve had a quick squiz at some of the G Adventures Vietnam tours and it looks like the fam closely resembles its Classic Vietnam: Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City itinerary (and we’re just a littoe bit jealous).
According to G Adventures managing director Sean Martin, Vietnam has been one of the top-selling countries for travellers from Australia and New Zealand over the past year. And Martin says getting a spot on the fam is a great opportunity for agents to “optimise their sales potential” by visiting the popular country.
“Vietnam is an incredible country with so much to offer in terms of its culture, food and history,” he said.

Vietjet Air’s General Manager in Australia, Dan Quigley, sees the collaboration as a perfect fit for the airline’s network.
“During 2023, Vietjet Air launched a total of 24 services per week to Ho Chi Minh City and beyond from Australia’s gateways of Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney,” he said.
