Vietnam’s low-cost carrier Vietjet will add 22 weekly flights to its Australian schedule from December 2023, increasing services from 26 to 48 flights per week to and from five states amid popular demand and ahead of the upcoming holiday season.

Since entering the Australian market in April this year, the LCC has incrementally increased its reach and services.

The flight frequency will meet the high demand for travel to and from Vietnam and reflect the company’s optimistic performance and outlook in the market.

Vietjet will have daily return flights for its Ho Chi Minh City–Melbourne and HCMC–Sydney routes with Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide (via Perth) routes increasing to five weekly services.

From 21 November 2023, it will fly five times a week from Adelaide to HCMC with a Perth stopover every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:25am.
