Express Tickets has announced the release of their next evolution in ticketing systems to independent travel agents across Australia and New Zealand.
Offering enhanced automated post ticketing support features, as well as access to New Distribution Capability (NDC) content across GDS and direct connect content with major airline partners, Express Tickets is the first and currently only consolidator to have this dual capability.
Travel advisors can benefit from shop and book functionality within the platform, whereby airfares are obtained via the advisors’ GDS of choice as well-curated direct connect content from NDC capable partner airlines such as the Qantas Distribution Platform and Singapore Airlines KrisConnect Programme.
This means a comprehensive choice of airfares at all times plus uninterrupted access to distribution channel offers. Ancillary add-ons such as seat selection and extra baggage are now seamlessly, a click away.
Not only have improvements been made on content delivery, but the new platform now also features TravelCheck®, a purpose-built facility for passports, visas, and destination COVID-19 health and safety information.
Travel advisors are able to instantly check the necessary documentation for multiple trip destinations, as well as be equipped with the most recent advice across multiple information sources on COVID-19 related requirements and procedures.
