Launched just over a year ago, Flight Centre Travel Group’s (FCTG) Travel Junction is expanding its capabilities to service the retail agents that now-retired Infinity Holidays traditionally worked with, along with new retail sector customers throughout the country.
Unveiled in September 2019, The Travel Junction (TTJ) was described at the time by Flight Centre as a move that would make its diverse product more accessible for businesses outside the group.
Yes, that included those Travel Agents who aren’t currently operating under any of the FCTG brands.
And now, the business, which was initially created to supply FCTG’s specialised and highly valued range of hotels, car hires, tours, activities, transfers and air products to global OTAs, wholesalers, tour operators, DMC’s and Bedbanks, has unveiled plans to offer its services to retail travel agents and agencies in Australia.
Following FCTG’s recent decision to retire the Infinity Holidays brand, TTJ has expanded its capabilities to service the retail agents that Infinity traditionally worked with, along with new retail sector customers throughout the country.
“This marks the beginning of an exciting new era for The Travel Junction as it delivers its highly attractive productive ranges to the broader retail travel sector,” TTJ general manager James Whiting said.
“We believe this new offering will appeal to retail agencies that are looking for a partner that can fulfil all of their product needs in one place and deliver a superior customer experience.”
James Whiting, TTJ general manager
“TTJ is developing a strong reputation in the business-to-business sectors it has traditionally targeted and provides the same specialised and highly valued product ranges that the infinity brand was known for in a low touch, self-service model to make transactions simple and easy.”

The Travel Junction is also part of Flight Centre’s In-Destination Power Portfolio ‘The Travel Group’ which includes Flight Centre businesses including Discova, The Travel Junction, Cross Hotels & Resorts, Back-Roads Touring and Topdeck.
