K-talk: CATO & KTO team up for member networking events

The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) and Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) Sydney Office are joining forces to host upcoming member networking events in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne with engaging speakers and cultural experiences.

The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) and Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) Sydney Office are joining forces to host upcoming member networking events in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne with engaging speakers and cultural experiences.

The first event will be held in Melbourne on Wednesday 21 September 2022 at the Intrepid Group Head Office where Intrepid Travel Co-Founder Geoff Manchester will talk about the benefits of B-Corp certification.

In Brisbane, CATO members will hear from Flight Centre Travel Group’s Global Head of People & Culture Alissa O’Connell who will share insights into talent acquisition and employee retention in the current climate at Mofos Bistro on Thursday 6 October.

Finally, Sydneysiders can enjoy a Korean-style banquet at The Royal Exchange on Wednesday 19 October with CATO Vice-Chair Lisa Pagotto leading a conversation with KTO senior team members.

CATO Managing Director Brett Jardine said: “These events are part of CATO’s renewed focus on providing valuable networking opportunities and support for members, as they continue to emerge from COVID, and we are grateful for the support of KTO Sydney.”

KTO Sydney Office Director Insook Lee added: “We are delighted to be partnering with CATO to showcase South Korea and highlight the variety of adventures that can be enjoyed, the exciting food scene as well as Korea’s unique natural assets.”

The event details are:

  • Melbourne: Wednesday 21 October 2022 at 6pm – Intrepid Group, Level 7, 567 Collins Street, Melbourne
  • Brisbane: Thursday 6 October 2022 at 6pm – Mofos Bistro, Level 15, 275 Grey Street, South Brisbane
  • Sydney: Wednesday 19 October 2022 at 6:30pm – The Royal Exchange, 1 Gresham Street, Sydney
