A weekend in the Red Centre came to a celebratory end for the entire Magellan Travel network, which wrapped up its annual conference by recognising the best of the best.
Magellan Travel’s annual Gala Night was held on the final night of the 11th Magellan Travel Conference, where consultants were given brand updates, met with suppliers and experienced Uluru.
Five individuals within Magellan member agencies were recognised and awarded throughout the evening for their outstanding contribution in various areas.
In addition to receiving a physical acknowledgement of their work (an award), they were also treated to free trips to New Zealand to experience the country’s finest.
Although full details of the winners’ itineraries are yet to be released, the brand’s General Manager, Andrew Macfarlane (who’ll host the trip), said they’ll be full of “unique” features.
For example, they’ll fly to New Zealand in Air New Zealand’s Premium Economy cabin. They’ll stay at the So Sofitel in Auckland before heading over to The George in Christchurch and finally New Zealand’s Best Hotel, The Rees.
“Year-after-year we continue to seek unique itineraries which offer high-end, luxurious, all-inclusive experiences to recognise the contributions of our award winners.”
Andrew Macfarlane, Magellan Travel General Manager
