Movers + Shakers: Josh Galea joins Globus family of brands as BDM NSW South/ACT

After more than three years away, Josh Galea is back at Globus family of brands (GFOB). Reporting to Globus family of brands National Sales Leader, Gia Acitelli, Galea rejoins as GFOB’s Business Development Manager for NSW South and ACT, a position he last held in August 2020.

After more than three years away, Josh Galea is back at Globus family of brands (GFOB). Reporting to Globus family of brands National Sales Leader, Gia Acitelli, Galea rejoins as GFOB’s Business Development Manager for NSW South and ACT, a position he last held in August 2020.

Responsible for engaging and strengthening relationships with the trade in the regions, Josh says he is “thrilled to be back working in the coach touring and river cruise sector of the travel industry with Globus family of brands”.

“The team has already made me feel back at home,” he told Karryon

“I cannot wait to re-engage with travel agents and our trade partners across NSW South and ACT and look forward to working alongside Gia and the rest of the GFOB team to drive results in 2024, ensuring it’s our most successful year yet.”

Acitelli said the decision to recruit Galea was a no-brainer.

GFOB announced three new appointments in its Australasian sales team in late September, including the recruitment of Acitelli as National Sales Leader.

Last year, GFOB marked a major milestone of 95 years in the travel business, starting with a single rowboat to a full fleet of global travel brands.
