Movers + Shakers: Team changes at Magellan Travel & Helloworld Business Travel

Helloworld Travel Group’s Magellan Travel and Helloworld Business Travel (HWBT) have announced three new appointments as Group General Manager Andre Moten and Communications & Product Manager Monica Godfrey depart the company.

Helloworld Travel Group’s Magellan Travel and Helloworld Business Travel (HWBT) have announced three new appointments as Group General Manager Andre Moten and Communications & Product Manager Monica Godfrey depart the company.

For HLO member agency Magellan Travel, Iain Summers joins as the new General Manager, having held similar roles at Amadeus IT Pacific and Carlson Wagonlit Travel.

A highly regarded business leader with extensive experience and deep industry knowledge, he will continue to drive Magellan Travel’s success.

Kellie Stanbury steps up to HWBT General Manager, bringing more than 28 years’ travel industry experience in Australia and New Zealand.

She has held prior significant roles, including Senior Project Manager, Head of Sales & Account Management and National Technology Engagement Manager with Corporate Travel Management and Tramada Systems. 

Megan Tran is the new Network Coordinator to ensure smooth communication and collaboration across the member group.

HLO also announced that Group General Manager – Helloworld Business Travel & Magellan Travel Andre Moten will depart the company after more than two years.

Mr Moten held numerous roles at the Group during that time, including CCO – Corporate and HWBT General Manager.

“Andre has been a true force to be reckoned with and made invaluable contributions to the strength of our networks. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Andre for his dedication and wish him the very best in all his future endeavours,” an HTL statement said.

Magellan Travel recently revealed a new logo as the group leverages its ties with HLO.

Helloworld Travel Limited posted a FY23 profit of $44 million amid strong travel demand.
