Alongside the exciting news that NZ cruising is back, industry innovator Norwegian Cruise Line have announced a brand new dedicated New Zealand Business Development Manager. Nothing says the travel industry is bouncing back more than new role announcements, right?

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) have doubled down on their commitment to New Zealand by announcing Megan Porter as the line’s dedicated NZ Business Development Manager.

The news accompanies the line’s (and the world’s) countdown to its long-awaited return to Kiwi waters after three long years. The refurbished Norwegian Spirit makes her debut in New Zealand in January 2023.

Seasoned industry professional

Seasoned industry professional, Megan Porter, brings over 15 years travel and tourism industry experience to the team and role. After eight years as District Sales Manager for Royal Caribbean Group, Megan’s commitment to service and her supportive demeanour established her reputation as a stand-out sales representative. Roles prior to Royal Caribbean, with Air NZ and Cruise Holidays, established Megan’s position in the travel industry.

“Our Partner First promise in action”

Norwegian Spirit set to sail New Zealand and Australia

“We are delighted to welcome Megan to the NCL team in New Zealand at such an exciting time for both our brand and the broader industry. Especially with our entire fleet sailing once more and New Zealand waters re-opening for cruising next month.” said Damian Borg, Sales Director, NCL Australia and New Zealand.

Borg continues, “This appointment demonstrates our Partners First promise in action offering dedicated on-the-ground support to our valued travel partners across New Zealand who are fielding significant interest from travellers keen to set sail again.”
