Due to strong voting for several travel legends nominated in the Most Popular Travel Support Service category to be announced at the NTIA Award Night on 15 October, a separate category has been added for the ‘Most Popular Travel Support Service by an Individual’.
In what has been a tumultuous time for the industry, to say the least, since the last NTIAs two years ago, a new category awarding individuals that supported the travel industry and especially travel advisors throughout the worst of the pandemic has been created.
Make no mistake. These legends embody the spirit of ‘Together In Travel’.
The finalists for the new award category were decided by popular vote and include:
- Anna Shannon, Travel Agent Finder
- Charlie Trevana, Destination Webinars
- Richard Taylor, The Travel Community Hub
- Roslyn Ranse, Travel Agent Achievers
AFTA CEO Dean Long said the decision to acknowledge several people who attracted a significant amount of votes in the Most Popular Travel Support Service category prompted the addition of the individual award.
“We’re thrilled to announce as a result that those travel professionals will also be acknowledged as finalists in the Most Popular Travel Support Service by an Individual,” he said.
The NTIAs will be held on 15 October 2022 at ICC Sydney.
“Our celebration wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our event partners, including major sponsor Singapore Airlines,” Mr Long said. “I look forward to catching up and celebrating with everyone on 15 October.”
