Travel sector stalwarts Julie Primmer and Lynda Wallace have joined forces on a new joint venture, Ascend Travel Group, to offer personalised representation, PR and marketing services for clients in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
Ascend Travel Group aims to take a highly tailored approach to brand representation for suppliers and agencies to provide value and results.
With a combined industry experience of 40-plus years, the dynamic duo (both ex-Helloworld Travel) brings their expertise, knowledge and passion to the new venture in a new travel landscape.
“The travel industry has undergone significant change in the past few years with consumer behaviours and expectations evolving rapidly,” Ms Wallace said.
“Ascend will focus on addressing these changing needs while offering a tailored and innovative approach for our clients and our travel industry partners,” she said.
Their extensive and current insights into both the agency and product side will allow Ascend to identify new opportunities for clients.
Launch clients include brands that are new to the Australasian market and are to be revealed soon.
“We aim to partner with leading travel brands and bring their visions to life, leveraging our decades of experience, industry knowledge and network of contacts to deliver results,” Ms Primmer, a former AFTA Director, said.
