The annual Treasures of the South Pacific 2024 national roadshow of 10 tourism destinations has wrapped, hosting more than 700 travel advisors across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Canberra and building on last year’s record turnout of 650 agents.

The overwhelming interest set a new benchmark for the annual roadshow with agents hearing from major sponsor Fiji Airways – with exciting news of its own – plus representatives from Norfolk Island, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa, Cook Islands, Niue, Tahiti and, for the first time, Palau.

Attendees received all the latest information plus entertainment and exclusive insights into the unique offerings of these South Pacific destinations along with exciting prize giveaways.

Supported by the Pacific Tourism Office, Pacific Trade Invest Australia and Australian Tourism Industry Association (ATIA), the Treasures of the South Pacific 2024 roadshow provided a platform for attendees to gain a comprehensive understanding of the wonders awaiting travellers in the South Pacific.

Advisors praised the engaging format, which offered a wealth of insider knowledge and firsthand insights from destination experts.

The overwhelming response and positive feedback from participants have set the stage for the Treasures of the South Pacific roadshow to return in 2025.

Planning is already underway to ensure next year’s event is even more impactful, continuing to strengthen the connection between Aussie travel advisors and the destinations of the South Pacific.

The Treasures of the South Pacific (ToSP) is the collective organisation of like-minded South Pacific national tourism offices who come together to promote the region to the Australian travel industry.
