The 2024 Visit USA Expo Series roadshow hit the ground running in Melbourne last night with a record number of US suppliers and a top turnout of Victorian-based advisors who were keen to glean all the latest and greatest updates for travel to the US of A.
The first of a three-day series across Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, last night’s event at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne provided a dynamic setting for more than 230 travel advisors to connect with 80-plus US exhibitors.
The Visit USA Expo, hosted by MC Mike Goldman, featured exhibitions, informative presentations and a panel discussion on responsible tourism, offering attendees a comprehensive understanding of the latest trends and offerings in the US travel industry.


Brand USA also presented a market update for the US suppliers before the event, highlighting the very promising outlook with additional airline capacity from Australia and fares finally starting to drop.
Attendees won incredible exhibitor prizes, including a six-night Hawai’i stay with return airfares and 13 nights in New York City and Hudson Valley with airfares, just to name a few.

US Consulate General Political & Economic Section Chief Tom Chidiac was at the Melbourne event and expressed gratitude to advisors for promoting the US and emphasised the importance of the consulate’s partnership with the travel industry.

Visit USA Organisation Australia President Caroline Davidson agreed and commented on the successful event start.

The Visit USA Expo Brisbane is on 20 February 2024 at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre followed by Sydney on 21 February 2024 at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney.
