The natural curves of the Irish coastline, carved for millennia by the waves of the Atlantic make for the finest golf courses in the world.

And this is official!

The golf course at Royal County Down regularly tops the Golf Digest list of 100 Courses in the World outside of the US.

With championship courses nation wide and the return of The Open is set to return to Ireland in 2019. The course at Royal Portrush will host golfing’s most prestigiousm event for a historic second time.

Ireland is bucket-list golfing for anyone who takes the sport seriously.

There is an incredible collection of world-class courses to the north of Ireland.

From the challenging coastal course of Ardglass that will distract you with the stunning views of the Irish Sea, to the world’s number one course at Royal County Down – a course of such beauty and difficulty that golfing greats return again and again to try to beat it.

And when you’re done golfing, you can cycle the coast made famous as Westeros by HBO series Game of Thrones.

THE BEST IN THE WORLD

When you have the worlds best courses it makes sense that you produce the world’s best players.

Ireland has its fair share of golfing greats including, Rory McIlroy who won four majors by the age of 26, Darren Clarke, who has captained Team Europe, and Paul McGinley the first Irishman to captain the Ryder Cup.

Follow in the footsteps of golf’s giants when you step up to an Irish course.

When you’ve finished golfing for the day, you must make your way to the mythical 19th hole.

This really refers to anywhere you want to spend your post-golf time.
If it’s pubs you love then you will walk into an Irish pub with strangers and leave with your new best friends.

If you fancy walking, you can hike the Causeway Coastal Route and visit the Giant’s Causeway and the Bushmills Whisky Distillery.
