Global independent travel advisor network 1000MTG is ready to host its Australian Symposium in Melbourne next week.
1000 Mile Travel Group (1000MTG) has announced its first Australian Symposium to be held in Melbourne on 12 December – bringing together travel advisors, staff members and partners from across the country.
The Symposium, which aims to establish new industry standards while encouraging growth and productivity in travel businesses, will take place at the Dorsett Hotel in Melbourne’s CBD.
In a statement, 1000MTG CEO and co-founder Ben Ross said the team is thrilled to gather some of the brightest minds in the travel industry for the global travel network’s event in Australia.
“This event is a testament to our commitment to providing our travel advisors with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their businesses,” he said.
Renowned brand marketing expert, Chelsea Cunningham, will lead a professional development workshop delving into the power of social media and brand awareness as part of the Symposium.
In addition, travel advisors can hear the latest insights from 1000MTG founders, Ross and Nicola Veltman, sit in on a Q&A expert panel discussion and participate in break-out sessions for practical tips on business growth.
General Manager Australia Lauren Gray said: “The Symposium offers a unique opportunity for travel advisors to connect and network with fellow business owners, key suppliers, and the 1000MTG head office team.”
“It promises to be a day of learning, collaboration, and celebration, marking a new date in the 1000MTG calendar and an event not to be missed.”
The Symposium is sponsored by Expedia TAAP, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Australia. Designer Journey’s is sponsoring the cocktail function and the venue sponsor is the Dorsett Melbourne.
Earlier this year, 1000MTG introduced a new online platform, The Hub, to streamline travel advisors’ time.
