At an industry breakfast in Sydney this morning, British Airways along with Visit Britain tantalised Agents with not only a delicious breakfast but with existing news and amazing prizes.

Of course, the Royal Wedding was mentioned and two tickets to the wedding were up for grabs. JUST KIDDING, but Agents did have a chance to win flights to London on British Airways.

British Airways will be installing wi-fi on long-haul and short-haul flights by the end of 2019. Seventy-two new aircraft will be introduced to the fleet and they will be refitting 120 aircraft with the new interiors.

New catering for all long-haul services in Business Class and new service styles which will be personalised along with new plates and luxury bedding, mattress, daybed and duvet.

Agents can also access the IAG (International Airlines Group) portal that allows visibility of inventory on BA and airlines under the group including Aer Lingus and Iberia.

Mark Haynes, Commercial Manager AU & NZ of Visit Britain, shared that traffic has never been busier. 2016 saw a growth of 10 percent and this is happening year on year. One million visitors from Australia are travelling to the UK with Australia being the fourth largest.

Britain will have the spotlight on it over the next couple of weeks and agents can buy on the Visit Britain shop, a lot of royal attractions and passes with a discount. These attractions include The Royal Mews, Edinburgh Castle, Royal Albert Hall and many more.
