Delta Air Lines is levelling up the luxury lounge game at LAX with the opening of its new Delta One Lounge.
The sleek space, located next to the Delta Sky Club in Terminal 3, offers seating for almost 200 guests and connects directly to the Delta One check-in. As such, the airline says it offers flyers a more seamless and exclusive experience from start to finish.
According to Delta, the lounge’s design draws inspiration from the beauty of Los Angeles, featuring warm sunset colours and natural touches like walnut accents.
The Icon Bar, with its glowing, Pacific-inspired ceiling, invites relaxation, while the library and dining areas echo the charm of old Hollywood with their sophisticated lighting and art deco vibes.
Outside, the terrace offers cosy seating for 26, enhanced by Missoni’s stylish pillows.
Art from around the world, including works from the US, Japan, and South Africa, reflects LAX’s global connections.
And when it comes to dining, Delta is aiming to impress.
Guests will enjoy full-service dining from every seat, with a rotating menu offering dishes like crispy duck tacos, pan-roasted salmon and roasted corn pizza.
Plus, an LAX-exclusive sushi bar will look to keep things fresh for those craving some Japanese cuisine.
For a worldly twist, travellers can also sample location-themed Bento boxes and cocktails inspired by Delta’s destinations, like a Tahiti-inspired Mai Tai or a London-style gin mix.
In addition, the Delta One Lounge features a wellness room with eight private pods equipped with zero-gravity and full-body massage chairs.
Meanwhile, special lighting helps adjust your body’s clock to your next time zone, while a rotating menu of wellness drinks and a spa cart keep you refreshed.
“From JFK to LAX, the opening of this lounge allows us to offer our customers a premium experience from coast to coast,” Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience Vice President Claude Roussel said.
“With a menu designed for our most discerning guests and the dedicated, individualized hospitality curated exclusively for our Delta One Lounges, our teams continue to raise the bar on service and elevate what an airport lounge can be.”
Delta Air Lines recently announced that its fast, free wi-fi will be available across its international network with the Asia-Pacific region, including Asia, Australia and New Zealand, scheduled to come online from mid-late 2025.
