Emirates’ customers flying to Thailand now have a brand-new lounge in Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. The USD$5 million refreshed and expanded venue offers the largest international lounge outside the airline’s flagship Dubai facilities and highlights the demand for both the destination and premium travel.
Relocated to the fourth floor of Satellite 1 Terminal (SAT-1) in Suvarnabhumi Airport, the new Bangkok lounge is open to Emirates’ First and Business Class passengers and Silver and up Skywards members.
Passengers travelling on Economy Class and Business Class Special tickets or Blue Skywards members can also use the lounge with paid access available via the Emirates website.

The new lounge spans 1,454sqm and can accommodate 250 guests, including all premium passengers travelling on two simultaneous A380 departures. The carrier currently operates five daily flights between Bangkok and Dubai on its A380 and B777 aircraft.
EK is one of the first airlines to move to the SAT-1 Terminal and the lounge is a five-minute walk to the boarding gates.

The refurbished space features a host of relaxation amenities such as shower spas, comfortable seating with a view of the runway and a food and beverage selection with local and international dishes including classic Thai desserts. It also offers free Wi-Fi and wireless charging.

Emirates operates the largest premium cabin capacity out of the international carriers to/from Bangkok, with more than 870 First and Business Class daily seats on routes to and from the city.
Bangkok is also EK’s second-largest destination with First and Business Class seat capacity, highlighting the route’s popularity and strong demand for premium travel.
Emirates has just started offering Premium Economy between Dubai and Brisbane.
