Emirates will launch its Premium Economy cabin on flights between Dubai and Brisbane from 1 February 2025.

Emirates will launch its Premium Economy cabin on flights between Dubai and Brisbane from 1 February 2025.

The upgrade will be available three times a week on flights EK434/435, with sales for the service now open.

This move makes Brisbane the latest Australian city to feature Emirates’ award-winning Premium Economy, joining Sydney and Melbourne.

The Premium Economy cabin features 56 seats in a 2-4-2 layout, with cream leather upholstery, wood finishes and 19.5-inch seats designed for comfort.

Guests enjoy a refined dining experience, including meals served on Royal Doulton china, vintage wines and sustainable amenity kits.

The airline says the introduction of the product in Brisbane highlights Emirates’ ongoing commitment to delivering luxury and choice for Queensland travellers.

By 1 April 2025, Emirates will offer nearly 4,000 Premium Economy seats across Australia, including two daily Sydney services and two daily Melbourne flights.

A third Melbourne service, featuring a retrofitted Boeing 777, is set to commence on 30 March 2025, alongside the Brisbane service.

Premium Economy travellers can access Emirates’ global network, connecting through Dubai to destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The airline has been serving Brisbane for over 22 years and operates double daily flights to Dubai. Across Australia, the carrier offers 77 weekly services to over 140 destinations.

Late last year, Emirates welcomed its new A350-900 aircraft – the first of 65 on order and the first new aircraft type to join the fleet since 2008.

This week, the airline announced it would be doubling down on vegan cuisine for its inflight menu across all cabins and lounge offerings.
