Ryanair pilots and cabin crew are being praised for safely landing a plane after it lost pressure and dived 26,000ft in seven minutes.
Flight FR7312 was 80 minutes into a flight from Dublin to Zadar in Croatia when it experienced technical issue, which resulted in a loss of inflight pressure.
Passengers described the seven minutes as the “worst” in their lives. One flyer took to Twitter to described the event, saying her ears were burning, she was struggling to breathe and her mouth tasted like iron.

According to an airline statement, crew followed standard procedures when air pressure was lost by deploying oxygen masks and initiating a controlled decent.
The plane then made an emergency landing at Frankfurt’s Hahn airport, ABC News reported.

“[The aircraft] landed normally and customers disembarked, where a small number received medical attention as a precaution.”

German authorities said around 33 of the 189 passengers were hospitalised after the event, including those who has bleeding from their ears.
