The complete rebrand comes less than nine months after it was first announced as a means of better aligning the regional and international airline with its sister company and well recognised, Cathay Pacific.

Aside from a name change, Cathay Dragon received a new logo – which includes the familiar Cathay ‘brushwing’ and according to the airline – as well as new aircraft livery featuring the words ‘Cathay Dragon’ across the body of the aircraft, the new logo on the tail plus the familiar Dragonair dragon close to cockpit.

The airline’s website is also set to undergo a revamp to become fully integrated into a single shared website with Cathay Pacific early next year.
