Air France has unveiled its chic new Business lounge at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is the French carrier’s largest wellness-focused lounge yet with TWO private saunas, a detox bar and a Clarins spa.

The roomy 3,200 square metre lounge can seat 540 guests and is available for Air France Business Class passengers, or Business Class passengers on a SkyTeam partner airline.

Transit can be tiring, so many travellers will welcome the news that this new space has the biggest dedicated wellness area of any Air France lounge.

The wellness section has an Instant Relaxation area where guests can stretch out on sun loungers or take a rest in a mini-suite. There is also a detox bar with the latest organic detox products from the Palais des Thés and Evian flavoured waters.

A Clarins spa dedicated to facial treatments is also on hand with two private cabins where guests can enjoy all the expertise of Clarins beauticians.

In case that’s not enough to get your zen on, there are two private saunas to freshen up between flights, large, luxury showers and a digital sculpture that changes shape, intensity, and colour throughout the day.

The lounge is also home to Le Balcon, set against the runways under an immense golden mirrored ceiling with a central bar and blue velvet box seats.

A cocktail selection has been created by the Hotel Lancaster in Paris with a special signature cocktail known as Un air de Paris, “where champagne sparkles like the Eiffel Tower and Cointreau opens the gates of the Tuileries gardens with its notes of orange and cognac, enhanced by a few drops of lemon”. Oh la la indeed.

There’s a unique Gourmet Table dining area, designed in the spirit of a modern Parisian brasserie, featuring an open kitchen.
