Form next month onwards, All Nippon Airways is rolling out twelve completely redesigned Boeing 777-300ER aircraft featuring the latest in tech and design.

The first redesigned aircraft will serve the Tokyo/Haneda to London route from August 2.

One of the biggest changes will be the introduction of the new First Class Seat known as The Suite. Inspired by luxury Japanese hotels, it is the most spacious fully enclosed seating ever seen on an ANA aircraft.

New features include privacy-enhancing doors and the world’s first 4K personal monitor on a commercial plane.

There’s also a movable partition which can be adjusted to pair seats as well as a universal PC and USB port. Luxury dark wood finishes feature throughout the cabin.

The new Business Class seats will be known as The Room, inspired by modern, multifunctional Japanese living spaces.

The Room offers flexible doors for privacy that can be adjusted to share the space with fellow travel companions.

It will be one of the most spacious Business Class seating plans in the world, with a wide sofa which is double the width to previous Business Class seating.

Meanwhile, the Premium Economy and Economy Class upholstery has been redesigned with Japanese patterns while there are also improved touch screen monitors and headrests that are adjustable along six distinct axes.

The new products were born out of five years of design development and collaboration between Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and British designers Acumen.
