Agents and travellers can now make bookings on Holland America’s first Pinnacle-class vessel, ms Koningsdam.

 

Scheduled to launch in February 2016, reservations on the ship’s first season can be made from today. First sailings include a seven-day cruise followed by a six cruise series of 12-day itineraries throughout the Mediterranean.

The seven-day Premiere Voyage is roundtrip from Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy; departing Feb. 20 to Dubrovnik, Croatia; Kérkira (Corfu) and Katakolon (Olympia), Greece; and Naples, Italy.

Following the inaugural cruises, the ship will cruise a series of 12-day Premier Sailings on two alternating itineraries from Civitavecchia from late February through to early May.

The first itinerary calls at Katakolon, Piraeus (Athens), Rhodes and Crete, Greece; Istanbul (overnight) and Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey; and Naples, Italy. The other itinerary visits Naples, Italy; Palermo, Sicily; Cagliari, Sardinia; Gibraltar, British Territory; and Cádiz, Málaga, Cartagena and Barcelona (overnight), Spain.

This week, Holland America released details of accommodation onboard its new flagship.

As well as extra family spaces, the ship will also have a dozen oceanview singles cabins.
