Watch out Lindblad and Silversea – the competition in the adventure cruise market is about to heat up.

 

 

Coral Princess Cruises, an expedition operator with cruises in the Australasia region, has revealed plans to step up its marketing efforts to Australian and New Zealand travellers.

The announcement comes less than a week after Cruise Lines Industry Association (CLIA) Australasia’s latest industry report found the number of Australian cruisers has hit a new record of one million cruisers. Read on

As part of its new promotion plans, the cruise line has appointed PEPR Publicity to manage its Australian and New Zealand public relations.

PEPR Publicity Director, Philip Engelberts, will oversee the account supported by Account Manager, Antoneth Spaziani.

The PR company and the cruise line will work together to roll out a broad program of media engagement.

PEPR will also assist Coral Princess Cruises on major projects and new itinerary launches over the coming months.

Operating for over 32 years Coral Princess Cruises, it was the first to offer extended cruises on the Great Barrier Reef, the Kimberley, and further afield through Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and New Zealand with Australian owned and flagged ships.

The line has a three-ship fleet, including the 48-passenger Coral Princess, 44-passenger Coral Princess II and 72-passenger Oceania Discoverer.

Each ship is equipped with a flexible range of excursion tenders, including the unique Xplorer vessel, a fleet of Zodiacs and on selected itineraries, a glass bottom boat and kayaks so guests can travel ashore with comfort and ease.
