Royal Caribbean International has unveiled a mega entertainment lineup ahead of the much-anticipated launch of its first Icon Class vessel, the insanely innovative Icon of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean International (RCI) has revealed the entertainment lineup for its largest ship to hit the water, Icon of the Seas.

Launching in January 2024, the cruise line will debut a new lineup of full-scale shows across its four signature stages – air, ice, water and theatre – offering more live music and comedy to guests than across the rest of its line.

The entertainment schedule for the vessel has been more than five years in the making, with guests choosing from a wide variety of acts on board.

Updated entertainment highlights for guests include

  • A new AquaDome’s AquaTheater, Royal Theater, and Absolute Zero ice arena – featuring 75 world-class performers, including the first-ever cast of robots, high divers and skateboarders. Advanced technology will be showcased at each venue, including 3D flying systems and robot arms that act as diving boards.
  • The first Wizard of Oz at Sea performance has been reimagined with innovative set design, more than 600 costumes, and an original score performed by a 16-piece orchestra.
  • Guests can choose from 50 live music and comedy shows while at sea at new venues, Lou’s Jazz ‘n Blues and Dueling Pianos and the familiar hanuts, including the Comedy Club at The Attic, Schooner Bar, and Point & Feather English Pub.

The cruise ship will feature its largest water park to embark under its banner and an indoor entertainment venue designed specifically for acrobatic and diving performances.

Last month, RCI announced the name of its newest vessel, currently under construction in Finland.
