Carnival Australia has announced that the new next level 3,700 passenger Carnival Splendor will begin sailing year-round from Sydney beginning in Dec 2019.
Announcing the launch at the World Leading Cruise Lines Summit onboard the Majestic Princess (which KARRYON is reporting live from), Carnival CEO Jennifer Vandekreeke said that the ship will be “next level fun that Aussie and Kiwi’s are going to love”.
The ships 3,700 passengers will be entertained with a number of exciting features such as the Cloud 9 Spa, and the ever-popular Alchemy Bar where bartenders will create a cocktail based on your personality.
And oh yeah, did we mention the massive new green and gold waterslides? Epic!

Carnival Splendor is also home to the Red Frog where guests can enjoy wine specially imported from New Zealand and Australia as well as late-night entertainment.
There’ll also be a new enhanced Serenity area where adults can enjoy some quality quiet time at the back of the ship minus the little ones.
In total, Splendor will be able to carry some 3,700 passengers per cruise who will be catered by 1,150 crew members across 13 decks.

In early December 2019, Carnival Splendor will host a one-night shakedown cruise out of Sydney for agents to get to know the ship and of course enjoy a massive night of FUN.
