TOSS OUT THE BUDGET: Virgin Voyages is finally open for booking

Richard Branson's 40-year dream of commanding his own cruise line is finally becoming a reality as Virgin Voyages officially opens for business.

Richard Branson’s 40-year dream of commanding his own cruise line is finally becoming a reality as Virgin Voyages officially opens for business.

Bookings for Virgin Voyages’ debut ship, Scarlet Lady, opened this week, shortly after the 2,770-passenger ship currently under construction, made first contact with water.

That’s right, after more than four years since confirming the cruise line’s creation, the inaugural season is on sale.

Scarlet meet water. Water meet Scarlet. 🛳🤝🌊

Virgin Voyages’ inaugural season (also the only itineraries currently on sale) will start on 1 April and run through to 21 October 2020.

Trips currently range from 4- and 5-night sailings from Miami to the Caribbean, including Cuba. Featured on all itineraries will be a call to The Beach Club at Bimini – an exclusive Virgin Voyages island experience in the Bahamas.

Guests, also referred to as Sailors, will be able to choose from a line-up of festival-like onboard ‘Events & Gigs‘ created by famous producers, directors and artists. They’ll also appreciate the line’s adults-only cheeky approach to service that sees no extra charge for the 20+ eateries, group fitness classes, gratuities, wi-fi and more.

As a special treat, Virgin Voyages is selling a Sir Richard Branson Birthday Bash itinerary, that’ll see the Virgin Group Founder celebrate his birthday onboard with celebrity friends. This cruise departs on 15 July 2020

Branson hopes that Sailors will appreciate the attention to detail that went into crafting as “experience that brings the Virgin brand to life and disrupts the travel industry”.
