In amazing news for Aussie holidaymakers, Vanuatu Tourism Office has confirmed from 12 September 2022, international visitors to Vanuatu by air and sea will no longer need to produce a negative COVID-19 test before entering the country.

Making it even easier for Australians to visit the South Pacific island paradise, this change in vax requirements applies to all arrivals by air and sea.

While full COVID-19 vaccination is still encouraged before travelling to the country, this is no longer mandatory and once travellers are in Vanuatu, there is no quarantine or arrival testing required.

Travellers who test positive for COVID-19 in Vanuatu or develop symptoms will need to isolate themselves for seven days at their hotel or resort.

Vanuatu reopened its borders to international travellers on 1 July, allowing visitors to travel freely throughout the archipelago and enjoy all the amazing things to do and see in the South Pacific paradise.

Virgin Australia will also resume Brisbane to Port Vila flights up to five times a week from 10 March 2023.
